Class Tell is a tool that allows you to create a website specifically for your class. It is secure- password protected. A blog can be attached. 1 GB of free space.

Venngage and Canva are easy to use Infographic makers and let you make beautiful Infographic Designs & Themes for free!

glogster is a neat little tool that allows you to make interactive posters online. You can use templates or create from scratch, add videos, photos and links.
Blabberize allows you to take pictures of any animal or anything (even a car) and turn them into a talking educator.

Polleverywhere is an application that allows for feedback to be solicited from individuals via text messaging.

Xmind and Mindomo give instructors and students the ability to create mind maps individually or in groups online.

Here is add-on download for PowerPoint and it enables you to increase voice and your face to your PowerPoint presentation. It's not difficult to use, quite intuitive Mix Office.

IFTTT is a neat little app that lets you sync different apps together to save you from having to re-post or save two copies of something. This site has more info and a few other examples of what it can do. Looks like a neat app to increase productivity!

Flip Snack is everything you need to easily publish captivating online magazines, transforming your pdfs into online flipbooks. It also has some great academic uses as well, such as: creating digital portfolios for job seekers, course promotional material, course outlines and creating digital books.

Ipadio has the potential to let students broadcast from any phone to the Internet, creating a digital podcast. Used on this blog to create my first podcast!

Concise, logical instructions are crucial to the success of any activity in the language classroom. We have all experienced the results that poor instructions can have: failure from s’s to do/complete tasks,  repetition or reprimands, students who “zone out” or aren’t paying attention when instructions are given,  frustration from both teachers and students etc.  Through analysis of contextualized examples of instructions, this blog post will look at what to consider when giving instructions and how to follow up with Instruction Checking Questions.
